Arrow Capital's executive team has unparalleled
industry and financial marketing experience. At
Arrow Capital we believe that some companies may have
knowledge of the business environment, but we have
the wisdom and experience in the business
environment. Our experienced staff has worked
for the following companies:
Steve Trollope—Chief Executive Officer and
President
Steve Trollope, founder of Arrow Capital, has
more than 16 years of technology equipment leasing
experience and more than five years of
Internet-related leasing experience. As CEO, Steve is
responsible for directing Arrow operations and
funding activities. Steve directed the company's
successful strategic moves into Internet venture
leasing and its focus on high-technology programs,
winning notable clients such as Lucent Technologies.
He also negotiated and managed Arrow's recent
acquisition of key business segments and assets of
Marcap Vendor Finance Corporation. During the early
years of Arrow Capital's operations, Steve developed
and managed vendor leasing programs in the medical
industry. Prior to his leasing career, Steve held
various operating and financial management positions
with Electronic Data Systems, Price-Waterhouse, and
Raychem Corporation. Steve earned a BSBA degree from
the University of Florida in 1975.
Geoffrey Scherer—Executive Vice President
Business Development
Geoffrey Scherer joined Arrow in 1997 with more
than 20 years of experience in technology equipment
leasing. Prior to Arrow, Geoffrey ran his own
consulting practice, Scherer Capital Associates,
which provided business plan development, equity and
debt financing, and operational support services to
start-up technology companies. Earlier, as venture
capital and investment manager at Greyhound Capital
Corporation, he handled prospect qualification and
contract negotiations. He also was responsible for
development, marketing, implementation, and
management of venture and vendor programs. Geoffrey
has an MBA degree in finance and strategic planning
from the University of Texas and a BS degree in
commerce, management information systems, and finance
from the University of Virginia.
John Plunkett—Vice President, General
Counsel
Mr. Plunkett has 28 years of experience in the
equipment leasing industry as both chief legal
officer and senior corporate finance officer. Before
joining Arrow Capital Corporation, he served as Vice
President-General Counsel for two and one half years
at MarCap Vendor Finance Corp. Prior to MarCap, Mr.
Plunkett was the Senior Vice President-Law with
Mitsui Vendor Leasing (U.S.A) Inc for six years and
also served as Senior Vice President-Finance and Law
during an 18 year tenure with Equitable Life Leasing
Corporation. Mr. Plunkett is a graduate of St. Mary's
College, Winona, Minnesota and of William Mitchell
College of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota.
Steve Jimenez joined Arrow in 2002. He has responsibility for all financial and accounting matters of Arrow Capital Corporation. With more than 12 years of experience in Accounting and Accounting Management, Steve has been integral in developing the company's accounting and financial infrastructure. He has experience in the following industries; engineering, consulting finance, sales, manufacturing, and software development. Steve has a MBA degree from Regis University and a BS degree in Finance from San Jose State University. Email Steve Jimenez
Stan Marquis—Board of Advisors
Mr. Marquis has more than 25 years of leasing
experience in management positions ranging from
Controller to President. He has served the Equipment
Leasing Association as a presenter, constituency
chair, and director. Stan has also served as
International Vice President Finance and CFO for two
public companies and led an Internet start-up as CEO
and CFO. He began his career as a CPA with Price
Waterhouse Coopers and has been employed by Itel
Corporation, Triad Systems Corporation, and Darwin
Networks, Inc. Stan received his B.S. in Accounting
from Golden Gate University.
